Dream Up a Big Idea and Claim Your Month

We begin our eleventh year with eleven open slots for "Your Big Idea, 2026!" OLLI Gastronomers have monthly events, January through November, all hosted by volunteer members. The group is not limited to OLLI members.

If you're new to the group and would like to host an event, or pitch somebody else on an idea, bring it to the meeting. If you're timid about hosting, do it with a partner. Restaurants aren't required; we've done many in homes, parks, the beach, and club houses.

We avoid any limitations, though distance and cost are the two issues that will affect participation. Some won't drive further north than Newport Beach; some won't spend twenty bucks for a hot dog. Oh well. Small groups are just another kind of fun.

For our annual happy hour and planning, please bring a snack for yourself or to share with others, and your preferred beverage.
